Official Launch of the Hazara Society of Alberta
Yesterday marked a historic milestone as we officially launched the Hazara Society of Alberta in Calgary. The event brought together community leaders, Members of Parliament, and many families, women and men alike, who came to celebrate this important beginning. With unity and enthusiasm, the association was formally inaugurated by its members, symbolizing the start of a shared journey for our community.
The program included the National Anthem of Canada, the official inauguration ceremony, a proper speech of the vision and mission of the Hazara Society of Alberta, and speeches from our distinguished guests. We were honored to welcome Mr. Tom Kmiec Member of Parliament of Canada, who shared their support for the Hazara community and emphasized the importance of building strong connections within Canadian society. Their words, alongside reflections from our own executive members, set a powerful tone for the future of our association.
The purpose of the Hazara Society of Alberta is clear: to strengthen unity, preserve and promote Hazara heritage, support newcomers, advocate for justice and inclusion, and contribute meaningfully to Canada\u2019s multicultural fabric. Yesterday\u2019s launch was not just a ceremony but a statement of resilience, hope, and empowerment for our people. We thank everyone who attended, supported, and celebrated with us on this significant day.
